Yuko Morimoto-Yoshida is an inter-cultural business consultant and trainer. Born and raised in Tokyo, as a child she lived in Europe and Mexico with her family for a couple of years. Currently she resides in California and frequently goes back to Tokyo for work and to visit her family and friends. While living in Tokyo, Ms Morimoto-Yoshida worked in an international bank for more than ten years and interacted frequently with expatriates. This experience exposed her to the issues of cultural differences between foreigners and Japanese people and led her to pursue a career as an inter-cultural business consultant. Based in the US, she enjoys the opportunity of observing the cultural differences from yet another perspective. Ms Morimoto-Yoshida holds a Masters’ Degree in Speech and Communication from San Francisco State University. In addition to her native Japanese, she is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish. She loves to travel and try cuisines from different parts of the world.
